Todoku

A Commission in Downtown Durham

Todoku is Japanese and means reaching out.

Not only is that depicted in the branchlike structures that seem to be reaching toward the light, but is also describes the way I met the fellow artist for whom I created this piece.

Todoku has taken up residence in a room of this modern, art filled condo in the heart of Durham.
